If you look at the map you can’t help but see how narrow the entrance to the Mediterranean is—just about 9 miles or a 90-minute ferry ride. So before the outreach starts we have a small team meeting in Algeciras southern Spain for a day and half of prayer and worship, then taking the ferry across the straits to Tangiers in Morocco and doing a similar thing there. We believe that these places are the gates to the Mediterranean. We want to worship and pray and ask that the gates be opened so that the King of Glory can come in. We want this prayer also to prepare the way for the training and equipping in Rome. It is a declaration of intent for the summer and all the outreaches taking place.
